health + safety

INFORMATION

covid-19 precautions

Feeling sick?

Please do not attend an in-person session if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or if you've been in contact with someone with a suspected case of COVID-19. If you've already booked, please contact me to arrange an online session or to reschedule.

Assessing illness

You're encouraged to self-assess using Alberta Health Services' online self-assessment tool directly prior to attending in-person sessions.

masks

Masks are no longer required in the office. Your therapist can wear a mask, upon request.

symptoms check

Anyone visiting the office should complete a self-assessment before their visit.

frequent sanitizing

Frequently touched surfaces and materials sanitized regularly.

Hand sanitizer provided.

online therapy

Virtual therapy options (video chat or phone) are available. See Yellowtree's FAQ.

increased airflow

Doors are left open as much as possible between sessions to increase airflow.

distancing

Seating can be arranged to maintain a 6' distance between therapist and client, upon request.

allergy alert

Have allergies to pets or other sensitivities?

Our building is dog-friendly and I do share my office with a therapist who brings her dog into work. You may see dogs in the office hallway from time to time, and there may be remnants of dog hair on the furniture. Please contact me in advance if you have any concerns about the presence of dogs in the office or if you have any other health concerns (such as smell sensitivity, etc.)
